Science Gallery Bengaluru presents CARBON #inthecity! Composed of an interactive pop up exhibition at metro stations, and immersive, free programmes every weekend, the exhibition explores our relationship with carbon in our bodies, our cities, and transit systems.
The curated programmes will nudge participants to look at carbon from various perspectives – as a pigment, an ingredient, a cultural presence, a measuring tool and more. See all details here.
How does an artist, armed with a backpack and fungi, understand the quality of our air? Join Ana Laura Cantera on this artist walk-and-talk around Cubbon Park, where she will share insights from her art practice! In accompanying her, you will get a behind-the-scenes look into her process of creating the exhibit Territorial Inhalations, which will be shown at Science Gallery Bengaluru's upcoming exhibition-season CARBON.
Dive into the technicalities behind capturing smog and suspended gases in the air, using extractors and biomaterials. Immerse yourself in an exploration of the air we breathe, the unseen pollutants that surround us, and the profound impact of our carbon footprint.
