Event

Empowering India – Ideas for Action by Scientists and Engineers is published by the Indian Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with the IIT-Madras Almuni Association. The book explores ideas about what the leading research and educational institutions should do for India@100.

The book is co-authored by Thalappil Pradeep and Krishnan Narayanan.

Thalappil Pradeep is Institute Professor at IIT-Madras. He is a professor, inventor, entrepreneur, and social impact technologist.

Krishnan Narayanan is co-founder and President of itihaasa Research and Digital, President of IIT Madras Alumni Association, founding governing board member of AquaMAP Centre for Water Management and Policy, and was a member of the Infosys Labs Management Council. He co-authored the book, Against All Odd-The IT Story of India.
