The National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) and Tata Institute for Genetics and Society (TIGS) are hosting an event on the International Rare Disease Day (February 29th, 2024) at Infosys Science Foundation. Come join us to interact with and listen to clinicians, scientists, and Patient Advocacy Groups. We also have a fun set of activities on genetics planned for you!
Open to the general public (9th standard and above). We have limited seats. Please register separately for every individual to reserve a spot. Let us know in advance if you won’t be able to make it!

4:10 - 4:30 - Introductory talk on rare diseases by Dr. Anil Vasudevan
4:40 - 5:30 - Film screening and hands-on activities by TIGS (Dr. Saveetha Meganathan and team)
5:35 - 6:50 - Panel Discussion with Prof. Raghu Padinjat, Dr Meera Purushottam, Prof. Alok Bhattacharya, Mr. Manjit Singh, moderated by Saveetha.
6:55 - 7:00 - Way forward and closing remarks by Dr Rakesh Mishra
