Humanity has been engaging in forms of science for our entire history, but the development of the scientific method has transformed us as a species through the development of knowledge and technology to promote our prosperity.
Prof. Schmidt will talk about the process of science, how knowledge develops, and the direct and indirect ways that humanity is able to use science to get where we are today, and to hopefully solve the problems that lie ahead.
