Prof. Satish Deshpande

Prof. Deshpande has worked at St. Stephen's College, Institute of Economic Growth, and the University of Hyderabad, besides visiting appointments at the universities of Chicago and California and at the Ecole des Haute Etudes en Sciences Sociale in Paris. He has worked on school textbooks and examinations with the NCERT and the CBSE, was on the committee that designed the Equal Opportunity Commission proposed by the Government of India, and is the recipient of the Malcolm Adishehshiah Award for 2012.
