Peter Zoller is a theoretical physicist and emeritus professor at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. Prof. Zoller is also the Scientific Director at the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information at Innsbruck.
Zoller’s research interests include atomic physics and theoretical quantum optics, and many-body quantum physics with quantum gases, and quantum information, in close collaboration with experiment.
Prof. Peter Zoller has won many prestigious awards for his contributions. These include the Dirac Medal in 2006, the Benjamin Franklin Medal in 2010, and the Wolf Prize in Physics in 2013.
Peter Zoller is a member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, the United States National Academy of Sciences, and the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, among others.
